Oslo Design Fair 2014-16
This assignment, which was executed over 2014-2016, was to develop a new strategy for Oslo Design Fair, formerly the Gift and Interiors Fair, including:
- Revitalisation of inspirational areas
- Focus on Norwegian design and brand profiles, highlighting Norwegian talents
- Restructuring of halls, establishment of the C-hall with a focus on Scandinavian and Norwegian design
- Strategy of new visual identity and brief to agency (Bielke & Yang) for developing a visual identity
- New communication an PR strategy
- New profile and content catalogue
- Revitalisation of academic programme
- Creative direction and preparation of brief for theme material (ink photo shoots)
- Development of three exhibition themes, and how these should be rolled out in the areas of inspiration, communication, public relations and professional programs, namely:
- The Return of Cosy
- Rituals / Everyday Rituals
- Togetherness
- Aiding the recruitment of a new show manager, now acting creative leader
The project involved working closely with the key staff members at Norway Trade Fairs, Strategic Adviser Andreas Engesvik, and Communications Managers Annette Hoff and Cathrine Røsseland.
